Can students use music in their video?

Yes, students can use music in your video, but it must be copyright-free. Copyright-free means that the artist who made it does not charge anyone to use their music.

Popular artists or any songs that you find on Spotify, Apple Music, the charts, or as sounds on TikTok or Reels are not copyright-free, so they are not able to use them in their videos. Links to copyright-free music can be found in the Resource Library. We encourage students to get creative by making their own tracks as well!
